About V-TRAX
V-TRAX was originally developed in 2016 as a durable, high-performance solution for vehicle tracking control. For nearly a decade, it was used almost exclusively by a major energy utility company, proving its reliability and effectiveness in some of the most demanding environments.
V-TRAX patented designed was specifically created to remove the maximum amount of sediment from tires in the shortest distance possible. Through testing, V-TRAX proved to be 42% more effective than standard rock. Its rugged construction, ease of installation, and proven results have earned V-TRAX approval from CDOT and most regulatory jurisdictions throughout Colorado and beyond.
In 2024, V-TRAX was acquired by Steamboat BMP Company, led by Cade Wilson, a seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience in construction stormwater compliance along Colorado’s Front Range. Under Cade’s leadership, V-TRAX is expanding beyond utility use and bringing its proven performance to job sites across the region — helping contractors, developers, and municipalities meet compliance standards while saving time and resources.

With 20 years of experience in Erosion and Sediment Control, a Construction Stormwater Compliance Subject Matter Expert, and Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control, I bring a deep understanding of the environmental challenges construction sites face. I founded Steamboat BMP Company with the vision of acquiring V-TRAX to make this exceptional product accessible to all.
